By completing this online form and participating in Joshua Generation Church Events, you and your family (including minor children) and/or attendees you invite along (collectively referred to as “Attendees”) hereby agree to these Terms and Conditions, confirm that you have read them, and declare that you are entirely familiar with their contents.
1.1 Registration for this JoshGen Youth Event requires completion of the online registration form at www.quicket.co.za
and payment in full. Registration will only be successfully completed once Attendees have filled in their details, made full payment using the relevant payment system, and received an email from Quicket with their tickets attached.
1.2 For minor Attendees to attend JoshGen Youth Events, this form must be completed online by their parents or legal guardians.
1.3 Cancellation and ticket transfer policy: Cancellations, refunds, and ticket transfers may be managed through Quicket and are subject to the Event rules and the Quicket Terms of Service. Any cost involved in cancellation, refund, or transfer will be for your own account.

2.1 Risk Notice: This JoshGen Event will be hosted at the Apostle Battery, Llandudno, Cape Town (“Event Hosts”). The right of admission to the venue is reserved, and any person entering the event venue or utilising the facilities thereon (“the Event Venue”) shall do so entirely at their own risk. This includes the use of any on-site parking, braais/BBQs or open fire facilities, and open water such as dams, rivers, and/or swimming pools, amongst others.
This is a military-style camp, and there will be inherent danger and risk involved.
2.2 Disclaimer: Neither the event organisers nor the Event Hosts or property owners, nor any of their directors, subcontractors, employees, volunteers, or agents (collectively referred to as “Event Organisers”) shall be liable for any loss, damage, or injury of whatsoever nature and howsoever caused to any Attendee or their property, or by whomsoever caused, whether liability is vicarious or otherwise.
Any and all such claims are waived by the Parents or Guardians and the Attendees entering the property or using the facilities, to the extent permitted by law, but excluding gross negligence and wilful harm.
2.3 Attendees entering the Event Venue agree and understand that they do so subject to these Terms and Conditions, which are accepted upon registering for the Event, entering the Event Venue, or using any of the facilities, and any and all such claims are waived by the Parents/Guardians and the Attendees, entering the property or using the facilities, to the extent permitted by law, but excluding gross negligence and willful harm.
2.4 All Attendees are required to advise the Event Organisers of any important or material matter that may affect them during the Event, or affect the Event or the Event Organisers, prior to or as soon as possible upon its occurrence, at the contact details specified in Clause 1.4 above.
Attendees hereby warrant, both adults and their minor children and invited attendees, that:
3.1 All information provided during registration is accurate and complete, and you have the authority to bind yourself, your family, and/or any invited attendees to these Terms.
3.2 Medical Conditions: The Attendees do not have any serious illness, noteworthy medical condition, or health problems except those disclosed in writing. There is no food, medicine, or other substance to which the Attendees are allergic, except as listed in the section allocated for that purpose in the online registration form.
If such form has not been completed, you are obligated to inform the Event Organisers in writing before the Event at events@joshgen.org.za of any relevant medical conditions.
3.3 Consent on Behalf of Minors: By registering or attending this Event, you as Parent or Guardian give permission for the Attendees to participate in the Event and irrevocably declare that:
3.3.1 Permission is given to participate in all Event programmes and activities, whether on-site or off-site, organised by the Event Organisers. This includes obstacle courses, excursions, outings, camps, official transport provided by the Event Organisers, or other Events (collectively referred to as “Activities”).
3.3.2 Although every care is taken to ensure the Attendee’s safety, attendance at the Event and participation in Activities is at their own risk, and you voluntarily associate with such inherent risk.
3.3.3 If you cannot be reached, permission is given for Attendees to receive necessary care or medical treatment. You agree to pay any associated costs should this be deemed necessary by the Event Organisers.
3.3.4 When Attendees are not at the Event Venue, they must remain in your care and must never be left unattended. Any arrangement for their care remains your sole responsibility. You understand that it is your obligation to ensure that Attendees remain at the Event Venue at all times.
3.3.5 Attendees will obey all lawful and reasonable instructions from facilitators, leaders, and Event staff during the Event. If any Attendee persistently refuses to cooperate, misbehaves, or disobeys rules or reasonable instructions, that Attendee may be excluded from further Activities upon notice to you as Parent or Guardian.
3.4 You, in your capacity as Parent or Guardian, indemnify the Event Organisers against any claim or liability in respect of any loss, death, damage, or injury that might arise from the Event, any Activities participated in, or any urgent care or treatment provided to Attendees or facilitated by the Event Organisers on their behalf.
3.5 The Event Organisers carry no responsibility for children who leave the Event Venue.
3.6 You, as Parent or Guardian, are solely responsible for promptly delivering and collecting the Attendee from the Event or Activities as stipulated by the Event Organisers.
4.1 All Attendees, including minors, agree that photographs, audio recordings, and videos (“Media Content”) may be captured and used by JoshGen or associated ministries during the Event:
4.1.1 For promotional and ministry-related purposes.
4.1.2 Without compensation or the right to revoke consent.
4.2 Media Content may be altered, edited, combined, or distributed publicly. Objections may be raised in writing to the privacy team within 10 working days of becoming aware of such use.
5.1 By registering for the Event, Attendees give consent, including consent on behalf of minor children in their care, for the Event Organiser and its Affiliates to store and use their personal information in line with the JoshGen Privacy Policy published at: www.joshgen.co.za/privacy-policy
5.2 Please read the Privacy Policy carefully, as it applies to the use of your personal information provided to the Event Organisers.
